Why we built this
We've all been there. You spend a year on an app, you can match words to pictures, and the moment a real person speaks at natural speed — you freeze. The streak was a distraction. The vocab was from 1974. Nobody told you why people say what they say.
HuaFlow is the alternative. Real phrases anchored to scenes you've already lived through — bars, dating, work, WhatsApp at midnight, arguing, apologising. The grammar is there if you want it. The cultural context is there because that's the whole point.
We started with the languages we know best, in the pairs we could build properly. Every book that ships has been reviewed as a complete unit before it goes live — not assembled by an algorithm, not translated at scale by a machine.
How we work
Each language is a separate interactive ebook. You buy the level you want — A1–A2, B1–B2, C1, C2 — or the full path. Once you have it, it's yours. No subscription, no nudges. Read it like a book. Listen like a podcast. Speak like a local.
Every phrase has a play button. You hear it at real speed. You see why locals say it that way. That's the method — not flashcards, not streaks, not gamification.
The team
HuaFlow is a small, independent studio. We build slowly and ship only what we'd stand behind ourselves. The books are written by people who live in the languages they're teaching — not summarised from Wikipedia, not generated from templates.
We're based in the European Union. Support is handled in your language whenever we can manage it.
What's live — and what's coming
We ship one language at a time, when it's ready. Here's the current state of the catalogue.
Wave 1 — 3 language tracks
Complete, reviewed, and ready to buy. A1 through C2 for each track.
Wave 2 — French and Italian
In production. Built the same way as Wave 1 — one unit at a time, reviewed before anything ships.
Wave 3 and beyond
Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Turkish, and others are on the roadmap. We'll announce dates when we can commit to them honestly. Sign up on the homepage and we'll email you when something new ships — nothing else.
